Global news agency Reuters said on Sunday that a safety advisor working with one of its teams was killed in a missile strike on a hotel in eastern Ukraine.

The man "was part of a Reuters crew staying at Hotel Sapphire in Kramatorsk... when it was hit by a missile strike", the agency announced in a statement on X, saying it was "devastated" by the news.
