Blinken denies US knowledge or involvement in Lebanon pager blasts

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday denied reports that the United States had any prior knowledge of the deadly attack in Lebanon that caused hundreds of Hezbollah members' pagers to explode.

Hezbollah blamed its archfoe, Israel—a key ally of the United States—for the explosions, which killed 12 people and wounded more than 2,750 others.
