WHO: Explosions of communication devices in Lebanon caused "severe disruption" to fragile health sector

The World Health Organization announced that the explosions of pagers and other wireless communication devices in Lebanon this week have led to a "severe disruption" in the country's already fragile healthcare sector.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, stated in a press conference that the organization has distributed blood bags and medical supplies in the country.
