Putin calls for establishing grain exchange among BRICS countries

On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed the creation of a dedicated grain exchange among the member states of the BRICS group, with the potential to expand to include other commodities later.

Speaking to BRICS leaders at a summit hosted by Russia, Putin said such an exchange would help safeguard trade between BRICS nations and other countries in the Global South from excessive price fluctuations.
