Mozambique's main opposition leader returns from exile

Mozambique's prominent opposition leader, Venancio Mondlane, landed at Maputo's main airport on Thursday, returning home from more than two months of exile.

Mondlane, who a large group of journalists met after exiting the airport building, claims that the October 9 election was stolen from him and went into hiding more than two months ago amid rising tensions over the election results, with protests leaving scores of people dead.
