Ukraine says struck oil refinery deep inside Russia

Ukraine said Wednesday it had launched its latest successful attack on Russian energy facilities overnight, striking an oil refinery east of the capital Moscow.

The general staff said military intelligence and other branches of the military had struck a refinery in the town of Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region, more than a thousand kilometres from the front line.
