EU says 'Ukraine a democracy, Putin's Russia not,' after Trump's comments

The European Union on Thursday hit back against U.S. President Donald Trump's accusation that Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky was a "dictator."

"Ukraine is a democracy, (President Vladimir) Putin's Russia is not," EU spokesman Stefan de Keersmaecker told journalists.
