MSF halts work in violence-engulfed camp in Sudan's North Darfur

The Doctors Without Borders (MSF) charity said Monday that escalating attacks and fighting in and around the Zamzam displacement camp in Sudan's North Darfur have forced it to suspend activities there.

"Despite widespread starvation and immense humanitarian needs, we have no choice but to decide to suspend all our activities in the camp, including the MSF field hospital," the organization said in a statement.
