Putin discussed Iran nuclear deal with Sultan of Oman: Russian state media

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the Iran nuclear talks with Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq in Moscow on Tuesday, Russian state media reported citing the Kremlin.

Putin aide Yuri Ushakov confirmed in a briefing that the topic had been discussed, with Oman playing the role of mediator between Washington and Tehran in the ongoing rounds of talks.
