At least 400,000 people at Vatican, line Rome streets for Pope Francis' funeral

At least 400,000 people gathered at the Vatican for Pope Francis' funeral and lined the streets of Rome to see his coffin driven to the Santa Maria Maggiore church for burial, Italy's interior minister said on Saturday.

"We estimate not fewer than 400,000 people between those present in St Peter's Square and those along the route," Matteo Piantedosi told the TG5 news program.
