Photos of Lebanese citizens holding dead pelicans and bragging about their hunting skills, have taken over social media platforms, triggering a wave of condemnations and deeming the acts as environmental crimes against rare species.

 

Charbel Dagher and Salim Mouawad posted their photos online with tens of dead pelicans; knowing that this kind of bird is inedible and illegal to hunt.
