LBCI Chairman Pierre El-Daher said Thursday that any attack targeting a media outlet is rejected, stressing the need to respect the others' opinion.
During his visit to al-Jadeed headquarters after the attack that targeted a live coverage van belonging to the company, el-Daher called on the officials to maintain Lebanon’s quality as a country of diversity and freedoms.
“I am not only expressing solidarity with al-Jadeed, but with myself and the families living from this sector, I am expressing solidarity with the media body,” he stated.
Unidentified assailants had set an al-Jadeed’s SNG vehicle on fire on Thursday at dawn.
