Father Miled Daoud Tannouri was severely injured by a road accident on the Hboub – Annaya road, when his Volkswagen vehicle collided with a Jeep Cherokee driven by George Nassif Ayoub.
Father Tanouri was transported to al-Maounat hospital in Jbeil where he died of his wounds.
Security forces rushed to the scene of the accident and launched an investigation.
