The Syrian capital has been gearing up to host the 59th Damascus International Fair later this month by kicking off renovation and reconstruction works across major streets and buildings in Damascus, in a step to show that the war has ended.
Two Lebanese ministers have received invitations to attend the fair, Industry Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan and Agriculture Minister Ghazi Zeaiter.
They both will be attending the event.
But will this decision be considered as a violation of the relations between the country, especially since Prime Minister Saad Hariri and a number of ministers refuse any form of communication with Syria?
