REPORT: Security forces identify woman found killed in Metn
The Internal Security Forces Information Branch managed to identify the woman that was found killed on the Metn highway on Saturday.
 
The victim was identified as Rebecca Dykes (30 years old) who works at the British embassy in Beirut.
 
The British embassy in Beirut issued a statement in this regard saying that it is following up on closely with the Lebanese authorities on the investigations into the murder.
 
On Saturday, the body of a woman in her twenties was found thrown on the side of Metn highway.

The unidentified body was transported to the Daher al-Bachek hospital.

A coroner examined the victim and said that there are choking marks on her neck.

This as Abaad organization said on its Facebook page that the killed woman was found in Sin el-Fil and that she was raped.
