Remarks attributed to Nasrallah by “Farda News” website not true – Hezbollah

The media relations office of Hezbollah denied Tuesday a report published by the Iranian website “Farda News” and shared by media outlets, about remarks attributed to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah during an alleged meeting with Iranian nationals in Lebanon.

The office of media relations stresses that the report’s content is untrue altogether.

The website had cited Nasrallah as addressing Iranians residing in Lebanon by saying that “Hezbollah is fighting in Syria, not for Bashar al-Assad but for Shiism.”

Later, the website removed the report.
