Israeli sources say Biden's pressure on Netanyahu regarding a Gaza agreement is 'remarkable'

Senior Israeli sources said on Monday that it is "remarkable" that US President Joe Biden is pressuring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, rather than Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, regarding efforts to reach an agreement in Gaza.

The sources added that Biden's statement that Netanyahu has not made sufficient efforts to reach an agreement was also serious, as it came just days after Hamas executed six hostages, including an American.
