Netanyahu says Israel received assurances from Biden and Trump to resume fighting if Hamas rejects security demands

During a cabinet meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his ministers that Tel Aviv had secured guarantees from U.S. President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump.

According to Netanyahu, these assurances confirm that if negotiations on the second phase of the ceasefire fail and Hamas does not comply with Israel’s security demands, Israel will resume military operations with full force, backed by the United States.
