2 Bodies found on al-Nahr al-Kabir's river bank in Akkar

Two bodies were found Thursday on the river bank of the al-Nahr al-Kabir on the outskirts of the town of Tal-Bireh in Akkar, North Lebanon.

Concerned authorities pulled out the body found at the Lebanese side of the river, while the other body remained in its place at the Syrian side of the border.

Criminal evidence teams and the coroner rushed to the scene to examine the corpse and unveil its identity before having it moved to the governmental hospital in Halba for further examination.
