Lebanese Army and UNIFIL convoy enters Naqoura in South Lebanon, marking first return to border town: LBCI reports

LBCI reported on the entry of a convoy from the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL from Al-Bayada towards Naqoura, South Lebanon, after several unsuccessful attempts due to the lack of Israeli approval.

This development comes alongside the meeting of the Quintet Committee with the presence of U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein.

Naqoura is the first border town to which the Lebanese Army has returned along the front line extending from Naqoura in the west to Kfarkela in the east.
