Kataeb party says non-abidance to the Baabda declaration puts Lebanon’s credibility on the line

The Kataeb party called on Monday for the formation of a cabinet capable of maintaining Lebanon’s stability, facing the repercussions of regional crises, and reactivating national dialogue sessions as a means of creating a suitable atmosphere for the upcoming presidential entitlement.

The party also noted that the new cabinet should restore talks related to the electoral law with respect to representation and national partnership.

On another note, the party stressed that non-abidance to the Baabda Declaration puts Lebanon’s credibility on the line since the declaration was ratified both at the Arab League and the United Nations.

The party also called on the Lebanese state to deal in a firm manner with the phenomenon of the self-imposed security, stressing that it will lead to social conflicts.
