Bassil: Bkerke national treaty an essential base for dialogue

Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil stressed Thursday the importance of the national treaty issued by Bkerke, noting that it constitutes an essential base for dialogue and openness between the Lebanese factions.

Following his meeting with Maronite Patriarch Beshara Boutros Rai in Bkerke, Bassil said that he visited the patriarch “to receive his blessings after he took over the duties at the foreign ministry, which are a national responsibility.”
