Abdullah Azzam Brigades member arrested- Army Command

The Army Command- Orientation Directorate announced on Thursday that a patrol of the Intelligence Directorate arrested Palestinian national Bilal Kayed Kayed, a member of the Abdullah Azzam Brigades group.

Kayed is wanted on several arrest warrants for committing numerous crimes including alleged involvement in an attack against a UNIFIL patrol in the region of al-Qasimiya, killing members of the Spanish contingent.

Kayed is also accused of several terrorist acts, bomb attacks, weapons smuggling, murder attempts and sabotage of private and public facilities.

Investigations were launched with the detainee under the supervision of the concerned judiciary.
