The employees at Rafik Hariri Governmental Hospital closed Thursday the facility’s main entrance, as well as the emergency entrance, to protest against the administration’s failure to pay the salaries and to commit to promises made by officials months ago.
In this context, the protesters declared that they will resort to escalatory measures should the hospital’s administration fail to recognize their rights.
The Bir Hassan based state hospital has long been the scene of protests held by employees who continuously complain of lack of amenities at the health facility.
