Wahhab to LBCI: I suggest PM Salam, Speaker Berri meet with President Assad

Tawhid Party chief Wiam Wahhab suggested Friday that Prime Minister Tammam Salam alongside House Speaker Nabih Berri head to Sham to meet with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in order to ask Syria for a solution to the waste management crisis.

Wahhab indicated during an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said that PM Salam has good intentions, pointing out that the premier does not bear any responsibility resulting from the failure to resolve the alarming trash crisis.

Commenting on civil society movements, Wahhab said that “protests are being obstructed, and are thus losing momentum.”
