Kortbawi: I am in no position to meddle in judiciary affairs

Justice Minister Chakib Kortbawi said Monday that he is in no position to meddle in judiciary affairs, adding he has carefully listened to the statement of the defense attorneys after the release of the verdict against retired General Fayez Karam.

As for the electricity plan, Kortbawi told Voice of Lebanon that the draft law is part of a comprehensive rescue plan approved by Hariri’s cabinet; adding electricity is not a political matter yet a vital issue that concerns everyone.
