Syrian intelligence arrests Mayor of Wadi Khaled

Syrian intelligence arrested on Wednesday the Mayor of Rama, Waki Khaled Sweidan Doaibess, aka Al-Badawi, at a security checkpoint, as he crossed from Wadi Khaled into Syria. .

Sources told LBCI that Doaibess owns a factory in Syria and crosses the border on a regular basis.

The sources added that Doaibess has been taken into custody and is undergoing investigations in Syria.
