Rai: Unity is the message of Bkerke

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai said Wednesday that “Unity is the message of Bkerke and the reason behind its existence”, calling on the Lebanese to steer clear of division that has torn them apart along the past decades.

Rai added, during his pastoral tour in the villages of al-Matn al-Aala, that “Lebanon is part of the Arab League; therefore, we should always stand by all of the Arab states, with no exception.”

The Maronite Patriarch said: “we do not have enemies in the Arab World,” adding that the Lebanese cannot be isolated from the rest of the Arab countries.
