Psychotic behavior caused the death of Abou Jaoude and his mother

A while after citizen Moufid Abou Jaoude, who lived in Jourit El- Ballout - Bremena, killed his mother Melvina and shot himself afterwards, the incident’s circumstances were revealed by Abou Jaoude’s neighbors.

Reports say that back in the 70s, Abou Jaoude was shot in the head which caused damage to his neurotic system.

Their neighbor told LBCI that Abou Jaoude and his mother were pessimists, adding that his sister died at a young age. “Moufid was disturbed but was goodhearted,” the neighbor said.

For his part, Jourit El Ballout mayor said that when he arrived to the crime scene, Abou Jaoude was screaming that he killed his mother and was asking for help after he shot himself with an old hunting rifle. The mayor added that the dead mother’s body laid down next to him.
