Joint exercises for UNIFIL, Lebanese army in Nakoura

The Army Command Guidance Directorate issued the following: "In presence of UNIFIL Commander Paolo Sierra and a number of Lebanese army officers, units of the Lebanese army and the UNIFIL carried out joint exercises entitled "Iron Storm" in Nakoura village.

The exercises included machine gun shooting towards sea targets.

These exercises came within the framework of raising the level of field coordination between the two parties and establishing the ability to face any emergency in addition to strengthening the fighting capability of soldiers."
