Hitti: We are working with Embassies for the return of Lebanese students and citizens back to Lebanon

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Nassif Hitti announced on Thursday that the Lebanese state awaited the arrival of medical assistance.

He explained that he had discussed the matter with the European Commissioner for Neighborhood Affairs, who in turn promised to provide Lebanon with the necessary aid after having been provided by France and China.

"We are working on all fronts to secure aid to Lebanon," the Minister affirmed in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station.

He highlighted ongoing cooperation with embassies to ensure assistance and to support students and citizens who wished to return to Lebanon.
