Lebanon increases bread bundle price

Economy Minister Raoul Nehme announced on Tuesday that he will issue a decision on Wednesday to raise the price of the bread bundle which weighs 900 grams to 2,000 Lebanese pounds.

He said after the cabinet session: "Starting tomorrow, the price of a bundle of white bread (900 grams) will become 2,000 Lebanese pounds, while the price of a 400 gram bundle will be 1,000 Lebanese pounds."
