Judge releases Lebanese-French businessman Takkieddin
Lebanon’s Prosecutor Ghassan Oueidat released on Monday Lebanese-French businessman Ziad Takkieddin but confiscating his passports and banning him travelling outside the country.
 
Takkieddin was arrested on December 4 by the Internal Security Forces Information Branch at the request of Interpol.
 
He was wanted by the French authorities for his involvement in financing the presidential campaign of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
