State Council suspends execution of Central Bank circular

The State Council issued on Tuesday a decision No. 213/2021 to suspend the execution of the circular No. 13318 issued by the governor of the Central Bank in Lebanon on 24/03/2021, in addition to obliging banks to withhold payments in Lebanese Pounds at 3900 LBP rate for the accounts in US dollars and to pay their holders in foreign currency.
