Marwan Habib strikes again, this time in Miami Beach
US officers detained on Thursday a Lebanese man for allegedly entering into a woman's hotel room in Miami Beach to assault her in her bed. According to authorities, she was able to protect herself.

Trainer Marwan Habib met the victim, who was visiting from the Midwest with a friend, at a clothes store. They swapped phone numbers and became friends on social media. She admitted to officers that she had arranged to meet him.

She told police officers she was sleeping on November 7 and woke up to find Habib in her room.

According to authorities, Habib was able to persuade the front desk staff at the Victor Hotel on Ocean Drive to give him a key to her room.

Based on the arrest report, other women have previously reported Habib's "strange and disturbing" behavior in Miami Beach.

Habib was the target of similar allegations from dozens of women in Lebanon, and an attorney addressed him publicly on a television show.

In Miami-Dade County, Habib is charged with burglary and assault.

On Friday, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond. He has an immigration hold, according to records.
