Winning candidate Marc Daou to LBCI: The people have chosen us

Winning candidate Marc Daou pointed out on Tuesday that they are a political force that has secured its place in the parliament and that the people have chosen them.

Daou’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show on LBCI, whereby he stated that “they must do a common project in politics with a legislative agenda,” adding that the new ones must work with each other through an effective and transparent bloc within the parliament.

“The return of Berri does not reflect our ambition for change, because he is one of those who brought us here, and he must be held accountable,” Daou stressed.

He concluded by saying that their national duty is to reach a result, and that requires cooperation within the parliament.
