Salam participates in the IMF meeting

Caretaker Economy Minister Amin Salam participated in the International Monetary Fund's meeting of ministers and governors for the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, with IMF Executive Director Kristalina Georgia.

According to a statement issued by the Minister’s office, the high-level meeting between the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund and the management team with ministers of finance, ministers of economy, central bank governors and heads of regional financial institutions in the Middle East and North Africa tackled the indirect effects of the Ukrainian war on the economies of the countries of the Middle East and North Africa.

Salam confirmed Lebanon's commitment to economic and financial reforms as a national duty to save the country.
