Hezbollah mourns fighters killed in walkie-talkie explosions

Hezbollah issued separate death notices mourning several members of the group, including 15 fighters from southern Lebanon, Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut.

According to AFP, a source close to Hezbollah confirmed that 20 of its members were killed in the explosions.

The group released individual death notices between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, describing the victims as having been killed "on the road to Jerusalem," a term used for fighters who die in confrontations with Israel.

The source, speaking anonymously, told AFP, "The 20 Hezbollah members were killed by walkie-talkie explosions a day earlier."
