Serta Channels denies allegations of security network breach linked to pager explosions

Serta Channels SAL issued a statement in response to recent social media rumors and reports falsely claiming that one of the security communication networks it installed was breached by an enemy, allegedly contributing to the pager explosions of September 17.

The company clarified that it had installed the network in question over ten years ago and has no involvement in the pagers supplied in 2024. It emphasized that the technology used in the communication network is different from that used in the pagers, making any technical connection between the explosions and the network impossible.

Serta Channels condemned these false reports, stating that such rumors only serve the interests of the enemy, offering pretexts to target the country's official institutions, particularly security agencies.

In defense of its reputation, the company announced it has taken legal action against those responsible for spreading these falsehoods, urging adherence to laws to prevent further incitement and misinformation.

The company expressed its condolences to the victims' families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured and the safe return of those displaced.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Serta Channels stressed the need for unity and support of state institutions in facing the ongoing aggression that threatens the nation.
