Israel launches series of airstrikes in Lebanon, medic among the dead

An Israeli airstrike targeted shops in Saaideh, west of Baalbek, killing one person and injuring three others late Tuesday night.

Early Wednesday, Israel launched four airstrikes, the first of which hit a house in Aaitit, south Lebanon, killing a medic from the Risala Scouts. The other three strikes targeted the town of Deyrintar.
