Spanish Defense Minister says all contributing countries to UNIFIL are essential in South Lebanon

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles stated on Wednesday, following a video call with 15 of her counterparts from EU countries, that the contributing countries in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) view their presence as "necessary and essential," emphasizing that only the United Nations can decide on the cessation of this force's operations.
