Israel starts to strike Beirut's southern suburbs following evacuation order

Following the evacuation warning to Borj El Brajneh and Hadath residents, Israel started striking Beirut's southern suburbs early Sunday.

Loud explosions were heard across the Lebanese capital due to the strikes as smoke could be seen rising from the targeted areas.

Five airstrikes were recorded in less than half an hour.

However, a series of strikes followed the first five, marking eight airstrikes in one hour as Israel targeted Borj El Brajneh and Hadath.
