Israeli army urges residents of Baalbek, Ain Bourday, and Douris to evacuate immediately

The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, issued an urgent warning Wednesday for residents of Baalbek, Ain Bourday, and Douris in eastern Lebanon, urging them to evacuate.

In a post on X, Adraee instructed residents to leave their homes immediately and exit the area using designated routes: the Zahle-Baalbek Highway, the Nahle-Baalbek Road, or the Arz-Baalbek Road, as indicated on an accompanying evacuation map.

“Hezbollah’s presence is forcing the Israeli army to take action within your city and villages, but we do not intend to harm you,” Adraee said in the statement.

The warning also advised residents to avoid Hezbollah members, facilities, or equipment, cautioning that close proximity could endanger their lives.
