Israeli army issues urgent evacuation warning for residents of southern Lebanon villages

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee posted on his X account an urgent evacuation warning to residents of the following villages in South Lebanon: Al-Hosh, Bazouriye, Rashidieh camp, Al-Barghliyah, Bestiyyat, Al-Hamiri, Arzi, Al-Matariyyah Al-Shoumar, Kharayeb, and Ansar.

Adraee claimed, "The activities of Hezbollah are forcing the Israeli army to operate against them vigorously in these areas, and we do not intend to harm you."

He called on residents to "immediately evacuate your homes and move north of the Litani River. For your safety, you must evacuate without delay."

Adraee stated, "Anyone near Hezbollah members, facilities, or weapons is putting their life in danger."

He concluded, "You are prohibited from heading south. Any movement towards the south may pose a risk to your life. We will inform you of the appropriate timing to return to your homes when conditions allow."
