Israel's army claims 188th Brigade 'dismantling' Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon

The Israeli army claimed Monday that engineering forces from the 188th Brigade continue to "uncover and destroy" Hezbollah's infrastructure in the rugged areas of southern Lebanon.

In a post on X, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that his country's military continues its operations in rugged terrain and forested areas near the border fence in southern Lebanon, "where Hezbollah has established infrastructure, including military buildings, combat equipment, and zones designated for infiltration into Israel."

The 188th Brigade uncovered a stockpile of rockets, which also contained ammunition and weapons hidden in the rugged terrain and within underground infrastructure, he claimed.

These operations, Adraee said, "are part of ongoing efforts to dismantle Hezbollah's capabilities, preventing it from carrying out its operations and launching rockets from these areas toward Israel, particularly toward northern towns."
