Israel claims strikes on Hezbollah command centers in Beirut’s southern suburbs for third time

For the third time on Thursday, Israel's military claimed to have targeted several Hezbollah command centers in Beirut's southern suburbs.

"Israeli fighter jets, guided by intelligence from the Military Intelligence Directorate, struck several targets in the southern suburbs of Beirut, focusing on multiple Hezbollah command centers," Israel's army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said.

In a post on X, he said: "These airstrikes are part of ongoing efforts targeting Hezbollah's weapons production sites and storage facilities, which the group has established over the years in the heart of Beirut."
