Israel's army calls for immediate evacuation of Halta village, South Lebanon

Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, issued an urgent warning to the residents of South Lebanon, specifically to those located in the village of Halta.

"Hezbollah's activities are forcing the army to take strong action against them in this area, and we do not intend to harm you," he claimed in a post on X.

He urged: "For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move north of the Awali River. Evacuation should happen without delay to ensure your safety."

Adraee further added: "You are prohibited from heading south. Any movement towards the south may pose a risk to your life. We will inform you of the appropriate time to return to your homes once the conditions allow."
