Tarek Mitri says government committed to state control over arms and full implementation of international resolutions

Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri reaffirmed the government's commitment to its ministerial statement, which upholds the state's exclusive authority over weapons and decisions of war and peace, as well as its obligation to fully implement international resolutions.

He emphasized that this stance is not just a declaration of intent but a firm commitment. "It is only natural for the Cabinet to set a timeline and concrete steps to achieve these goals," Mitri added.
