Lebanon's President Aoun informed of Israeli threat to Beirut's suburbs during Élysée meeting

During his meeting at the Élysée Palace with French President Emmanuel Macron, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, Cypriot President, and the Greek Prime Minister, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun was informed of an Israeli threat targeting Beirut's southern suburbs.

President Aoun immediately relayed the development to the participants in the Quintet meeting and closely monitored the situation as it unfolded.
