Magnitude 5.3 earthquake strikes eastern Turkey

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre stated on Thursday that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 has shaken the eastern region of Turkey. 

The center added that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
